Situated in the quaint hill village of Sorana and within easy walking distance of the local bar and excellent restaurants.
Outside there are private olive groves for the children to play in, a terrace for al fresco dining, BBQ for outdoor cooking and a lovely pool for cooling off in the glorious summer days.
What makes this house even more special are the spectacular views of the Pescia valley. This is a perfect place to relax and unwind.

The farmhouse
The farmhouse sleeps a total of 6, but perfect for a family or 4. There are 2 bedrooms, the main bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has a double sofa bed and a traditional tuscan cabin bed-in-the-wall. There is one bathroom.
There is a fully equipped modern kitchen with washing machine and fridge-freezer, with both indoor and outdoor dining for 6.
The sitting room has comfortable furnishings and a double sofa bed and the whole house has central heating for the colder months.

Surrounding area
Sorona is a small medieval hill village which is home to a bar / shop and plenty of local life to keep you entertained.
One of the great advantages of this property is that just a short walk down the hill are two of the best restaurants of the area.
Open all year round, the house offers a quite retreat from which to explore the surrounding hills on foot. There are many dedicated trails around the Dieci Castella region, one of which passes nearby the house. This will take you to the base of the valley where you can choose to trek on to Vellano, Castelveccio, Fibialla or Medicina.
Florence and Pisa are easily accessible by car or rail (50 mins drive), as is Lucca (20 mins drive) and Sienna (90 mins drive).
Please note
There is a walk from the car parking area to the house through the ancient narrow cobbled street and along the private path (approx 250m). It is only possible to approach on foot and whilst this adds to the rural charm and your privacy, it means that this house is unsuitable for guests with mobility difficulties.
